headshotJared Stancombe was born and raised in the small town of Heltonville, Indiana and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 2005. He comes from a long line of union laborers who worked at General Motors in Bedford. As a former analyst with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, proud AmeriCorps alum, and humanitarian aid worker who has worked in Africa and India, Jared brings a much-needed young, innovative, and results-oriented perspective on issues important to Hoosiers.  Jared wants to lead by example and be a voice for every Hoosier who feels out of the loop on how our state is governed. We need young people in government who understand the issues and have experience working with the most vulnerable people in our society. Politics should not be reserved for older generations and those better off.

We need leaders who will solve problems while exercising Hoosier values.

“This gentleman is already a dynamic and committed public servant. I’m very excited to see what he is capable of inside of office to benefit the communities he will be serving. ” – Christy Trasher, AmeriCorps member with United Against Opioids and Monroe County resident.

“Jared is incredibly intelligent and experienced. His background is diverse; he brings a wealth of knowledge on many different hot-button topics to District 65 and the state as a whole. He is very passionate about his community. He’s out there meeting people and listening to what they want and need. You will not regret voting for Jared Stancombe this November.” – Atalie Klumpp
